Our Directors
Ganizo Jamu
Director
Ganizo brings extensive executive leadership and business management experience to Smart City Consultancy. Having held CEO and senior management roles across hospitality, transport, investment and marketing research, he combines a broad commercial perspective with hands-on experience of running businesses. He also sits on the boards of the Zimbabwe Chickens Development Project and the Sanjika Development Project, which adds a development-focused perspective. At Smart City, Ganizo's focus is turning conversations into deliverable projects: bringing people, ideas and resources together, resolving obstacles and keeping projects moving from a shared vision to implementation.
Lloyd Chikwati
Director
Lloyd brings 12 years' business experience and first-hand knowledge of large-scale, technology-led programmes delivered with government. He is a key principal at Afriveritas Solutions, a regional enterprise specialising in secure identity and biometric technology. Working in partnership with Danapuri, the company supports national passport and identity programmes, combining local operational knowledge with international technology expertise. This work has given Lloyd experience of complex public-sector projects where reliability, security and stakeholder confidence are essential. Holding a Diploma in Business Management, he brings this experience to Smart City, where secure digital systems and well-run public partnerships sit at the heart of what makes a city smart.
Emma Dreyer
Director
Emma is a Director of Smart City Consultancy and a project manager and business consultant with more than 20 years' experience across the UK, Europe and Africa. She has worked with CEOs, boards, managing directors, entrepreneurs and large conglomerates, helping them turn strategy into well-run projects. Emma is logical and systematic: she starts with the results and KPIs a project must achieve, maps out the process to get there, then tracks progress and reports clearly along the way. Her expertise spans project management and reporting, business strategy, system and process design, financial forecasting and operations. At Smart City, she brings this structure to taking development proposals from concept to delivery. Emma holds a BAC-accredited postgraduate qualification in Management Studies.
